A Research to Business project
About
ICDx is a Research to Business (R2B) project funded by Business Finland, designed to transform academic innovation into a commercially viable solution for hormone diagnostics.
Bridging Academia and Industry
Located within the Biotechnology unit at the University of Turku — a hub for in vitro diagnostics (IVD) innovation — the ICDx project benefits from a strong scientific foundation and innovative atmosphere.
The support from Business Finland enables the ICDx team to advance its scientific discoveries toward market readiness by conducting proof-of-concept studies, engaging with industry stakeholders, and building a clear commercialization strategy.
By bridging the gap between university-based innovation and industry needs, the project aims to bring high-impact diagnostic tools from the lab to real-world healthcare and wellness applications.
